"Announcing our first Cornhusker Artist in Residence, Nebraska native Margaret Berry, Encaustic Artist. Beginning in April, 2016, the hotel will host Margaret on property in a studio and gallery space open to the public for her year long residency. Margaret will be at the hotel creating pieces, hosting gallery nights and networking with guests to create an enriching experience for travelers. We are truly excited for this new partnership!"

TRY ENCAUSTIC

You are invited to make and take an encaustic project with you! Available projects will change over the year and include collage, painting, printing and photo enhancement. Works on boards will be a 6 x 6 while works on paper will be 8 1/2 x 11" so they can be packed or carried easily. A hanger will be provided as well as a label that the work was created as part of the Cornhusker residency program.

WAX & WINE

Fun adult social events to be held monthly. Guests will complete two projects suitable for hanging while enjoying fine wine in a gallery setting. This is also the perfect event for after-hours team-building, a girls' night out, birthday parties and more.

HOT WAX COOL ART WEEKENDS

A day with a morning and afternoon workshop suitable for both the beginner and serious artist. Sign up for one or both. Packages for both workshops, with overnight stay, lunch between workshops and after-workshop bar event also available.
